Wire Specifications
Tensile Strength:
- Range: 380 – 550 N/mm²
- Purpose: Increases the tensile resistance of the final product beyond EN 10223-3 suggestions.
- Tolerances: Comply with EN 10218 (Class T1).
Elongation:
- Minimum Requirement: Not less than 10% as per EN 10223-3.
- Testing: Conducted on a sample at least 25 cm in length.
Galfan Coating:
- Minimum Quantities: Meets EN 10244-2 (Class A) standards.
- Adhesion: Galfan coating must not flake or crack after being wrapped six turns around a mandrel with four times the wire diameter, as per EN 10223-3.
